CHADRON, Neb. - #21 Colorado School of Mines dominated its dual at Chadron State, winning nine weight classes in a 37-3 romp over an Eagles team that came in unbeaten in RMAC action.

The Orediggers (7-2, 5-1 RMAC) reeled off eight straight victories after the teams traded wins in the first two bouts. The Eagles (5-3, 4-1 RMAC) lost for the first time in-conference. #5 Weston Hunt punctuated the dual with his 4-2 win over #10 Mason Watt on a last-second takedown.

Christian Lopez used a reversal and two escapes to edge Quade Smith, 4-3, at 125, but CSC's Kobe Lepe got an escape plus a takedown at the second-period buzzer to beat Tyler Krause 3-2 despite Krause riding out the third to get the riding time point.

Grayston DiBlasi picked up his 19th win of the season with a pin at 141 pounds, rallying back from 5-2 down to stick Ethan Leake in the third period. DiBlasi found a third-period reversal and then tilted Leake for four before finishing the fall with 31 seconds remaining.

Things kept rolling from there for the Orediggers as Cody Thompson had four takedowns and spent nearly four minutes on top to major Chance Bockenstedt 9-1, and Carter Noehre came out on the attack to pin Dean Neff in 56 seconds at 157. Jack Damenti earned a tough 5-2 decision against Preston Renner at 165, and Ryan Fidel clinched the dual win with his 5-3 decision over Darwin Hull at 174.

#11 Anderson Salisbury earned the Orediggers' third pin of the afternoon with a reversal into the fall a minute into the second period against Rowdy Pfeil, and Perry Rodenbeck controlled his 197-pound match with Eli Hinojosa 8-5.

The highlight of the afternoon was a nationally-ranked heavyweight showdown between #5 Weston Hunt and #10 Mason Watt. After a scoreless first, Watt reversed from the bottom off the second period start before Hunt escaped seconds later; Hunt chose bottom for the third and got his escape to tie it 2-2, and took down Watt with four seconds remaining to win 4-2.
