The Colorado School of Mines Men's Ultimate B Team showcased grit, growth, and teamwork at the COWabunga Classic, hosted by the University of Northern Colorado on October 25–26 in Greeley. Across six competitive matchups, the Orediggers gained valuable experience and displayed impressive playmaking in a strong regional field.

Day 1 opened with tough competition against the University of Colorado B Team, resulting in a 1–13 loss, but Mines quickly rebounded with a 9–6 victory over host UNC. Sophomore Bradyn Andres led the charge with precise throws and composure on offense, while Jones Kill anchored the defense with highlight-reel layouts and lockdown coverage. Despite a hard-fought effort, Mines dropped their final Saturday game to Colorado Mesa University 6–11, closing out the day 1–2.

Day 2 brought a renewed focus and clear improvements across the board. The Orediggers battled CU B again in a 6–12 loss before responding with a dominant 12–4 win over UNC. The final stretch featured one more tough matchup against CU B (4–13) and a closing 8–5 victory over UNC, ending the weekend on a high note under beautiful Colorado skies.

Throughout the tournament, Lucas Canavan and Hudson Thomas made key contributions on both ends of the field, helping drive the team's momentum and cohesion. The weekend reflected a major step forward for Mines B — building chemistry, developing depth, and gaining confidence ahead of future tournaments.

The Orediggers leave Greeley with heads high and eyes on continued growth as they prepare for the next chapter of their fall season.
